Mind the Work employs a unique and holistic approach which consists of exercises, philosophy and team interaction. This broader vision goes further than solely physical or mental exercises.
Mind the Work’s in-depth approach allows the participants to continuously grow through individual and team experience, during and in between the sessions. The exercises can be easily practised anywhere.
The content of the sessions becomes part of our daily personal and professional life. Mind the Work increases employee commitment, individual and team performance.
Your employees only need to wear comfortable clothes. The sessions can be organized at a time most convenient to your firm's daily activitites. We suggest starting with smaller groups of up to 15 participants per session. Once everybody is familiar and at ease with our concept, we could increase to groups of 30 participants per session. After the session participants can go back to work easily and well recharged. We only need available office space. Mind the Work provides its own material to create a dedicated relaxing environment at your workplace.
A MIND THE WORK SESSION TAKES 45 TO 60 MINUTES AND

Mind the Work starts with an introductory session for management and stakeholders. This session is important to set goals and objectives. It allows management to experience our solution so they can support their team in the Mind the Work practice.
We recommend starting out with a minimum of five Mind the Work sessions to create awareness and to achieve impact. Assessment of this impact follows by means of a survey before the first and after the fifth session.

Sari has more than 20 years of experience instructing yoga. Born and raised in beautiful, pure rural Finland, Sari from very early on experienced the flow of movement, breath and meditation during yoga lessons with her parents.
Before starting a family in the Netherlands, Sari explored London, Paris and Helsinki. Her great interest in human nature, body and mind, brought her back to yoga. Besides being a mom to her 3 wonderful daughters, she founded Yoga Academy Tula and later Yoga Studio Yoga Home.
Since 2011 she returned to her roots by organizing yoga retreats in the unpolluted, natural countryside of Finland. Through Sari’s authentic and down to earth approach her classes are accessible to all levels. Sari’s motivation is to share her experience and knowledge with others to enable them to connect with themselves and others.
HOW DID IT BEGIN?
From his first yoga session at Sari’s yoga studio Yoga Home, Thomas realized this was exactly what he needed to find a proper work-life balance.
Sari and Thomas connected during one of her intensive courses at her yoga retreat in Finland.
At that very moment, it downed on him that if yoga had a positive influence on him, others would benefit from it too. Together, Sari and Thomas built out the mental fitness concept as part of his Executive EMBA where it was trialed and tested in front of senior business audience. The end game was to develop the concept further: introduce the positive and lasting effects of mental fitness in a business environment. Sari and Thomas set up several pilot projects to test their concept. These successful projects confirmed the need for and benefits of the Mind the Work sessions during work.
In November 2017 Mind the Work was officially founded. Mind the Work offers mental fitness as a sustainable solution for companies to make its employees more resilient to stress.
